BRETT SCHUBERT

Chief Executive Officer

Brett Schubert, CEO of Monarch Resource Partners LLC, provides strategic leadership and guides the company’s long-term vision. Focused on building lasting client relationships, Brett is committed to delivering reliable solutions and enduring value for both customers and employees.

Brett founded Monarch in 2021 after serving in multiple leadership roles at Pegasus Optimization Managers, including Vice President of Operations Support, where he helped drive the company’s rapid growth. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with CDM Resource Management. Brett earned his B.S. in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University and his M.B.A. from Sam Houston State University.

Originally from South Texas, Brett lives in College Station with his wife and son. He supports local FFA and 4-H programs, is active in his community and church.

RANDY GARCIA

Vice President of Operations

Randy Garcia serves as Vice President of Operations at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, leading the operations team with hands-on support and mentorship focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

Randy joined Monarch in 2021 and has worked in the gas compression industry since 2008. Prior to Monarch, he held leadership roles with CDM Resource Management and Pegasus Optimization Managers, where he helped grow operations across South Texas, West Texas, Oklahoma, and Appalachia. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute with an Auto and Diesel Certificate and is a certified Ford technician.

Randy lives in South Texas with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, restoration projects, and supporting his community.

KOLTEN KELLEY

Vice President of Sales

Kolten Kelley serves as Vice President of Sales at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, leading sales initiatives and helping clients implement turnkey electric-driven solutions that improve productivity and profitability. He works closely with customers to develop customized gas-to-electric transitions, delivering seamless, full-service solutions tailored to their operational needs.

With experience in the oil and gas industry since 2015, Kolten previously held roles with Kodiak Gas Services, Pegasus Optimization Managers, and CDM Resource Management. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University.

Kolten lives in Midland with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and competitive sports.

SHANE ESTES

Vice President of Business Development & Fleet

Shane Estes serves as Vice President of Business Development & Fleet at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, leading business development efforts and overseeing the design of custom equipment installations. With more than 30 years of experience in the gas compression industry, he helps clients develop efficient, field-specific solutions that align with their operational goals.

Since joining Monarch in 2021, Shane has worked closely with customers and midstream partners across major shale plays, leveraging his expertise in operations, engineering, supply chain, safety, and sales. His career includes leadership roles with Guerra Engineering, Hanover Company, Gas Services International, Universal Compression, CDM, AG Equipment Company, and Pegasus Optimization Managers. Shane attended Victoria College.

Shane and his wife live in South Texas and have three adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and caring for animals on his small ranch.

DWAYNE ALLEN

Vice President of Operations Support

Dwayne Allen is Vice President of Operations Support at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, overseeing systems/IT, supply chain operations, reporting and compliance, and health, safety, and environmental functions.

He joined Monarch in 2022 and brings over 28 years of accounting and systems experience in the gas compression industry. Previously, he was Director of Business Solutions at Pegasus Optimization Managers and held leadership roles at CDM Resource Management, including Director of Accounting and Director of Cost Analysis. He earned his B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Tyler and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dwayne lives in Houston with his wife and children. Outside of work, he enjoys building cars with his kids and supporting his daughters at softball games.

JOHN COLWELL

Chief Financial Officer

John Colwell is Chief Financial Officer at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, where he leads the finance and accounting team, including financial reporting, FP&A, corporate finance, and strategy.

He brings extensive experience as a finance executive in fast-growing organizations, including serving as CFO of VanZandt Controls, where he helped drive major growth through acquisitions and organic expansion. His background also includes work in private equity, consulting, and public accounting. John is a CFA Charterholder and a CPA in Texas, and he earned both his BBA and master’s degree in accounting from University of Texas at Austin.

He lives in Houston with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and following Houston sports teams.

CARLOS RODRIGUEZ

Senior Executive Advisor & Board of Director

Carlos Rodriguez is Senior Executive Advisor and a member of the Board of Directors at Monarch Resource Partners LLC, where he collaborates closely with leadership and the board on strategic and financial matters.

He brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and M&A across public and private companies, including roles as CFO of Zephyr Gas Services, Vice President of Finance at Encino Energy, and CFO of Pegasus Optimization Managers. Carlos earned his BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a CPA licensed in Texas. He also serves as an Executive Professor at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School and sits on multiple boards, including Bold Production Services and First Horizon Bank’s advisory board.

He lives in College Station with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and cheering on Texas A&M Aggie football.
